Trip to Grover Beach

In the beginning of November we decided to take Marie up to the Central Coast to visit Grandpa Frosty and Grandma Coco.  We took Marie to the local beach, downtown, and we happened to hit the Monarch butterflies as they migrate.  Marie took some time to photograph the butterflies in the eucalyptus trees and met up with us a little later at the beach.  It was a fun day! 

Halloween

Ok sooo as usual I'm a little behind on blogging.  I left off with a fun visit with family in October and will finish up our October 2013 with Halloween.  This year was so fun with decorating, picking out our costumes and of course playing with our food.  This was Marie's first American Halloween and I think she really enjoyed seeing some of our traditions. She chose to dress up as Taylor Swift and the boys were Buzz Lightyear and Gabriel chose Scooby Doo.  I was holding out for Buzz and Woody, but Gabe (being Mr. Independent) was having none of it.  He wanted to be scooby so he was gonna be scooby.  Super cute! 

Grandpa, Grandma, Uncle Bill and Aunt Caitlin Come to visit

Grandpa Visit, Grandma Sue, Uncle Bill and Aunt Caitlin all came out to visit us in the beginning of October.  We celebrated Aunt Beth's birthday, ran a family mud run and also celebrated Meghan's birthday.  We had such a wonderful visit celebrating birthdays and spending time at the beach.  We absolutely adore the time we get to spend with family and are so blessed to have such amazing people in our lives and in the lives of our children.

Marie's 17th Birthday

September 20, 2013 marked Marie's 17th birthday! We were so excited that we got to celebrate with her! After some of our first conversations with her we found out that she had never been to Disneyland or Disneyworld. This sparked an idea to take her to Disneyland for the first time on her birthday! We have family passes and go at least a few times a month so we decided to buy her a season pass so she gets to join in on the Disney fun! Here are a few pictures from her birthday!

On every birthday we make the boys sit on the island to take their picture with their birthday balloons and cake... Marie is now part of our family so we made her do the same...with some coaxing of course!
