Lake Skinner Splash Pad- Temecula, California

Another little morning outing that we took was to Lake Skinner in Temecula. At this park they had a great splash pad to take the boys and Katie to. It was a little activity that all ages could enjoy (thank you Amber for introducing us to this place!). We had a great time visiting with our friends Amber and AJ and playing in the water!
Gabriel enjoying the water!  It was H-O-T!!
Katie teaching Gabriel some cool tricks with the water!
Hands down one of the sweetest little girls... We just adore Katie Boo!

Reuben H. Fleet Science Center- San Diego, California

With summer comes A LOT of free time which means time to fill with our little bubbas!  Over the last couple of weeks after our vacation in Michigan I have tried to fill up some of our free time with visiting local tourist attractions.  We also had Katie, a 10 year old little lady, visiting for a week and I had to try and keep her semi entertained during her visit (not an easy task might I say finding things for toddlers AND a 10 year old to do that they are all interested in).  Our first outing was to the Reuben H. Fleet Science Center which is located in Balboa Park in San Diego, CA.  The science center was a nice quick outing that kept them entertained for a couple of hours.  I wish I had brought our double stroller because I think the sights of Balboa Park would have kept them entertained even longer!  Such a beautiful park!

A Tornado simulation.. They loved sticking there hands in it to make it start over

This was actually a really cool simulator...
Uh... I'm not sure what this was...but they had fun climbing all over it!
This conveyer belt was Noah's favorite... He had fun putting food on one end and sending it to the basket at the other end.
Gabriel really enjoyed the "ball" area where there were tubes that sucked the balls up into clear tubes and sent them down into baskets...
They also loved the "fire truck"!
Typical boys... they loved the "snot faucet"... He told you all about snot
Sending the balls down the "drain"
no no no she didn't drink the "drink me potion" from Alice in wonderland...
Noah and his BFF Katie...  He just adores her!

Michigan

We are finally home after a wonderful month in Michigan. The boys and I left on July 14th and headed for beautiful Michigan. We had a bit of a rough start with the flight there and then the flu was passed around from Noah to Grandpa to cousins and Nina. We spent the first week nursing everybody back to health, but from then on had a pretty great time. We spent a lot of time at the beach, the pool, Mackinac Island, and jumping on Grandpa's trampoline! I even had a chance to catch up with some old high school friends who I hadn't seen in at least 15 years! Overall it was a great trip and we loved visiting with everybody!
Two of my best girlfriends from high school...  Out for dinner and drinks!

We found out that Noah LOVES blue moon ice cream... Can ya tell??
And so does Gabe!
Our first day at the beach...

Noah and his Nina...
There weren't any other people on this beach except one grandmother and her two granddaughters... They had a pink truck and of course my child found it...  He carried that jeep around all afternoon...
And this is how Mommy and Daddy get to relax...
